What sort of Access appeal do I need?

You need a Mapping Appeal if:

Chapter I of the Act requires the statutory bodies (in England, the Countryside Agency) to prepare maps of open country and registered common land.

Any person with an interest in the land may appeal to the Secretary of State against its inclusion on the provisional map as open country or registered common land.
