How soon will I get a decision on my appeal?

Although we have had a 22% increase in the number of appeals received, if you submit an appeal today we are at present continuing to issue 80% of decisions within:

16 weeks (if your appeal is being dealt with by the written representations method);
22 weeks (if your appeal is being dealt with by the hearing method); or
30 weeks (if your appeal is being dealt with by the inquiry method).

We are monitoring this position and will update this information on a regular basis.
