Welsh language scheme7 Publicising the scheme7.1 The Inspectorate will refer to this scheme in its published Annual Report, business and corporate plan and any other information literature produces and will stress to the public that the Inspectorate welcomes, at all times, communications equally in both Welsh and English. (Target date: 1999 reports) 7.2 The Inspectorate will place leaflets in the reception area of the The National Assembly for Wales building in Cardiff open to the public and provide copies of the leaflet to LPAs, drawing attention to the Inspectorate's scheme. The leaflets will include a summary of Welsh language services available and where the scheme can be obtained. The scheme will be made available as a free, bilingual document from the Inspectorate's Cardiff and Bristol offices, or through the post by writing to the Inspectorate at the address given in the following section or by telephoning Cardiff 029-2082-3866. Adoption of the approved scheme will also be advertised by notices in the press. (Target date: on implementation of scheme) |
