Development Plan Document Examinations - Programme Officer Guidance Notes
7. GETTING STARTED
7.1 The start of the process may seem daunting but remember the first steps are important to later success:
- Establishing contact with the relevant LPA officers to discuss:
- PEM and Examination venues
- PO and Inspector accommodation
- Lines of communication
- IT arrangements
- Notify all respondents that the PO exists, that the Inspector has been appointed to conduct the Examination and give your contact details. It is important to ensure that all those involved in the examination process are circulated with all relevant information.
- Clarify with each person/party that has made a representation the status of their representation. Remember several months may have elapsed since the LPA compiled the information in the database and there is a responsibility to supply the Inspector with accurate and up to date information.
