Inspectors' Annual Meeting 2007

The Inspectorate held its Annual Meeting with Inspectors on 22 and 23 March in Bristol.  At this event Inspectors were given an update on current policy thinking by Paul Hudson Chief Planner at Communities and Local Government and Rosemary Thomas Head of Planning at the Welsh Assembly Government. They had a discussion on the practical implications of housing policy under PPS3, providing feedback on their experience to policy colleagues at Communities and Local Government.  Lessons learnt from examining Development Plan Documents were exchanged and a very comprehensive presentation and discussion on Climate Change was led by Peter Ellis from Communities and Local Government.
