Draft Phase One Revision (The Black Country)

The Black Country Consortium working with the West Midlands Regional Assembly as Regional Planning Body have prepared a Draft Phase One Revision of the Regional Spatial Strategy for the West Midlands. The Draft Revision applies only to the Black Country and represents the first phase in the process of reviewing the RPG11.

As required by planning law, the West Midlands Regional Assembly submitted the Draft Revision for examination by an independent Panel appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.  The Examination ran for two weeks, from Tuesday 9th January 2007 to Thursday 19th January 2007, at the Bethel Convention Centre, Kelvin Way, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 7JW.
